The university’s Sports Centre is kicking off 2024 with an invigorating line-up of new fitness classes, designed to cater to a variety of interests, fitness levels, and schedules.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast looking to shake up your routine, a beginner seeking to get active in a fun way, or simply looking for an excuse to socialize and unwind, there’s something for everyone in this exciting new offering.

What’s New?

GlideFit

Looking for a fun and challenging way to improve your core strength and balance? GlideFit combines yoga, Pilates, and strength training on floating boards in the pool. This innovative workout adds a splash of excitement—literally—as participants test their balance while performing dynamic movements on water. Perfect for those looking to try something completely different.

Beats and Burn

Dance your way to fitness in this high-energy cardio class set to the latest chart-topping hits. The studio transforms into a club-like atmosphere with LED lighting and thumping beats, making every session feel like a party. Great for cardio lovers who want to groove while they sweat.

Strength Circuits 360

This class is perfect for those looking to build functional strength. Combining strength training with cardio bursts, it uses a variety of equipment including kettlebells, resistance bands, and battle ropes to provide a full-body workout. How to Sign Up
